Experienced session player and multi-instrumentalist. Has been playing in rock bands since the fifth grade. Worked and performed alongside David Johansen and members of Springsteen’s E-Street Band. Deeply involved in New York's jazz scene. Studied improvisation under the late Sal Mosca for 11 years. Launched in a new direction in the 00's with wife Helene, forming The Baal Shem Tones and producing their debut neo-Chassidic album All Our Lives. Now living in-between Atlanta and Nashville, writing songs and generally working his tuchas off.
